- DHDarlene HobbsApr 11, 20261.0Once a month I take my 85 year old mother food shopping there. We are usually there around 6 am. That's when they open up. Mother has problems walking, so she has to use a electric carts. That is one reason why we get there early. Today was different. While putting the groceries in the vehicle, one of HE B employees came to the vehicle. He stated that he needed the cart because people were stealing them. I said to him: "Sir I do not want your cart!" He proceeded to take my mother's food out of the cart. I told him again I wasn't going to steal his cart. I don't understand why that happened. Was it because I am black? I can't see my mother and I picking that cart up and carrying it away. I can't see her driving it into Hewitt. I live in Gatesville. I don't think it would have made it here!

She’s always attentive, kind, and really takes the time to make everything perfect. I wouldn’t want anyone else doing my arrangements. I recommend her to all of my friends!

First time I ever ask a florist to wrap the flowers.. for my sister in law gift .. I went up to her and she told me they charge fee.. of course girl charge me.. went to go pay & came back… and saw the flowers she done laying down on the table .. I went up to her and she said it’s right there.. where she stood there.. I thought she was going to hand them to me.. I guess not so i grab them… hopefully i get someone new next time.. put her in any other position if she don’t want to do her job correctly.. her job was poorly 😒
- LSLoren SwansonMar 24, 20263.0This is my least favorite grocer. They used to provide Customer Service and for that I was willing to pay there high prices. But it seems ever since they came out with self checkout for some reason if you go to the regular cashier they expect you to bag your own groceries! If you don't they give you a bunch of dirty lools and attitude to make it more infuriating they will just stand there usually the "sacker" runs off and leaves you and the cashier to handle it. And as you stand there then other customers complain in line because of the situation! My point is that I didn't choose heb because of there price because it stinks. There in house brands are horrible! I choose it because I'm paying for the customer service. But as usual with HEB you don't get what you pay for!
