Anna, in the deli is just awesome. When I asked if the slicer had been cleaned recently she remembered me from my visit a few weeks ago & said, "wait. Allergies? Right? I remember you." She said it was clean.but she was going to clean it again, thoroughly so there was no doubt. She proceeded to go above and beyond and break down the slicer & clean every part as well as cleaning the scale. When I apologized for being such a bother she said, "not at all." With a smile. It's employee's like Anna in the deli that will keep me coming to this store. Please let her know she is doing an amazing job.

As nice, friendly-staffed, and as well-stocked as any other HEB location! They had everything I was looking for at super affordable prices. A loaf of bread for 98¢? Heck yeah! Under 2$ for a bag of potato chips? You bet they have it!

HEB’s are always excellent. In my opinion this is the best one in Waco. It has the size and stuff of Valley Mills, but without the crowds of university students. I know a lot of people who work there, and they’re great! The sampling people are very friendly and passionate. I’ve heard their seafood boil out preforms most other HEBs (except of course the ones in North Texas).

If I could give no stars I would. I've never had any problems at HEB until a few days ago. I am partially legally blind and went too the store alone because it was my sons birthdaty, I guess my basket was in the way of a young Caucasian couple, they pushed my basket, knocked me off balance, and when I turned around the woman stated, "b'tch you should of moved your basket." To which I did not respond, she then came back up too me yelling in my face to which I attempted to feel my way out of the store and leave my whole basket, and right before I could reach the exit, the manager Michael Mercer, stops about 6 feet from me and yells across the store, I need too get out before he calls law enforcement. A few people even spoke up too say I had done nothing wrong. As soon as that was said, I knew as well as everyone it was because of race, so I said, "Thats not okay, you do not even know what happened and you look at my skin color and automatically assume it was me?" And he smiled, laughed and walked away. Refusing to give me his name or corporates number. I had too get it from the security guard who also aplogized for what he called "ignorant behaviour", He then gave me the number and the managers name. I called corporate, spoke with customer relations, she apologized and stated that, that is not how they treat their customers, or a situation. Then stated, she would make sure someone above him would reach out to me too get a more accurate statement and she would make sure of it, asked my name, and number and said they would call within 24 hours, its been 2 days... Yeah, I will NEVER go back too any HEB, at ALL, how embarrassing, judgemental, and RACIST! I would never never imagine treating anyone with such hate. They need ediqute classes as well as de-escalation classes, you should not run a store if you know nothing about de-escalation as well as not seeing someones color, if these are the great managers of HEB I feel terrible for America. Very disappointed in HEB I shop for all 4 of my grandparents as well as my family, I guarentee we will NEVER be back too one of these locations.
