Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

(There were only like 4 people in the drive through and nobody behind us) Finished ordering and finally got to the window after another five minutes. Lady at the window was mumbling and told us to pull into stall B. When we asked what to do if someone was in there she just closed the window. So we pulled forward and waited for her to come back out to ask her. When we did she said “It doesn’t matter, just pull into the one that’s not open.” Waited another five minutes and finally got our food -two sandwich meals- and left. The waiting wasn’t a problem it was the attitude from the lady that was. Food: Got the wrong drink at first, but it was fixed quickly! Fries were delicious! The chicken sandwich however was ok. I had asked for no lettuce and tomato, and to add mayo. The Sandwich was pickles and mayo only, which was what I asked for. Except that there was so much mayo! It was skidding around and became super messy. Other than that it was great!
