  Best thing about this place is/was our server Terry. He was friendly, super attentive and efficient even with his section full; answered all our questions (special diet needs) and kept saying “I got you,” which he did! I appreciate the special dietary menu they have (gluten friendly, veg, keto) and the healthy options section on the main menu. The food was rather bland but good enough to enjoy, and the drip coffee was like water,. My California omelette was generously full of veggies, and overall quite fresh and healthy. I will be back, and will order an Americano next time! :)

  I work nearby so I was really hoping this could be my go to place. Today was the fourth time I got an undercooked poached egg, and every single time I ask for them to cook it a little extra. I decided to check it before I left the restaurant this time, I'm sure enough, runny whites. No concern, it's almost like they seemed annoyed with me. Not one apology or even one word. The one girl just stared at me and the egg, and the manager just came up in silence and took my egg away. The whole vibe among the employees is generally less than happy. Bummer, because some of the food is pretty yummy. But don't count on egg cooking talent.

  I had brunch at The Toasted Yolk and was so impressed by the service from start to finish by Fatima. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Our server Fatima checked in just the right amount, always there when we needed something, but never overbearing. Drinks stayed full, our food came out quickly, and everyone had a smile on their face. The team worked together seamlessly, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. You can tell they really care about making sure every guest has a great time. The food was delicious the Southern Fried Arnold and the Fried Banana peppers were amazing! but honestly, it was the outstanding service that made the visit memorable. If you’re looking for a brunch spot where you’ll be treated like a regular from the moment you sit down, The Toasted Yolk is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back!
