I ordered the oxtails with greens, sweet potatoes, and cornbread. The oxtails were tender, flavorful, and meaty—some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The cornbread was delicious too! My sister had the fried hot link basket, and the empty plate said it all. The peach cobbler was just okay but everything else was great. The owner was friendly, and the menu offered plenty of great choices. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious soul food in Waco, this is definitely the place to go!
