  I was a bit worried about the restroom as a man born with dwarfism the tall urinals seemed like a problem. The manager was very courteous and pulled a high chair into the restroom for me. Lifted me into it the high chair turned around and let me do my thing and Lifted me back out of the high chair 10/10 service!!! Will definitely return

  I visited George's on Tuesday for dinner and sat in the back bar area at a middle table. I had a male server that evening. I ordered a mango margarita on the rocks with salt and sugar around the rim. When I received my drink, my server informed me that the bartender had made a mistake and prepared it frozen instead of on the rocks. He mentioned that the bartender was new. However, he clearly knew what I originally asked for and still brought out the incorrect drink instead of having it remade properly. It felt like I was expected to simply accept the mistake because the bartender was new, rather than having my order corrected the way I requested. Additionally, throughout the evening, I received uncomfortable looks from the female bartenders, even though I did not drink the incorrect beverage. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. This is unacceptable, and I expected better service.

  RENA is a fantastic waitress and I have the utmost respect for her wonderful hospitality and attentiveness. George’s is ALWAYS good and VERY FAIR PRICING. GREAT restaurant with GREAT STAFF.

  I had the catfish, sweet potato fries and broccoli rice casserole. The fish was very small. The food was good overall but I don't know if I would visit again. Service was mediocre.

  George’s Waco is a true Waco classic and never disappoints! From the moment you pull up, you can feel the history, community, and Baylor pride that make this place so special. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, whether you’re sitting inside watching the game or enjoying the outdoor patio. The food is always on point. The chicken fried steak is crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with creamy gravy and classic sides. The grilled dishes are cooked just right, the green beans are seasoned to perfection, and the loaded wedges are dangerously good. And let’s not forget the iconic margaritas, ice-cold, strong, and refreshing in those frosty glasses Service is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy, and it’s easy to see why locals and visitors keep coming back. George’s isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience and a Waco tradition. If you’re in Waco and don’t stop at George’s, you’re missing out. Highly recommend!
