Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

When my family member and I ordered malt/shakes, we were informed that the items were unavailable because the machines were being cleaned. While we understand that maintenance is necessary, it was disappointing that menu items were not available during late-night hours when customers expect full menu access. There was no information provided regarding when the machines would be available again, nor were any alternatives offered, which made the experience more inconvenient. We ultimately left without being able to order what we came for. I hope this location can improve communication and consistency so customers can rely on full menu availability during all operating hours

- LDLil DaveMar 30, 20261.0I honestly have no idea how this place has any 5 star ratings. I live by this Whataburger and I have intentionally avoided this place for almost a year. I tried again and it’s still terrible. Someone needs to let the Manager know that COVID is over because the service they provide is terrible. It’s so slow that it should not be considered fast food. And by chance you do get your order after sitting in line for 20 minutes your drinks will be watered down. This has been happening since at least 2022 but they are literally the only business who still work like it’s the beginning of COVID.
