Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Drive through service was so friendly and uplifting.

My experience at this Whataburger has been very unpleasant, especially due to the service from one cashier (short, with bright yellow hair). Her attitude is extremely rude and she completely lacks the basic manners required for customer service.
From the moment you approach, she doesn’t even greet you; instead, she bluntly asks, “what do you want?”, which is completely inappropriate. This is not the first time it has happened—this is already the second time she has treated me this way.
Additionally, she seems to pretend she doesn’t understand my English because of my accent, even though other people understand me without any problem. This feels uncomfortable and gives the impression that it is intentional. One of her coworkers even mentioned that she speaks Spanish, which makes her behavior even more confusing.
It is frustrating that, while being inside the restaurant, I end up placing my order through the app just to avoid interacting with her. That makes no sense in a customer service setting.
I hope management takes this kind of behavior seriously, as it directly affects the customer experience and gives the place a very bad image.
