Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DCDavid Charette2 days ago1.0On 1-8-26 about 5:00 my son and I went in and waited a good 5 minutes and no one came out to take our order. As we were leaving to go to Dairy Queen 3 people came in and a guy sitting in the chair got up and walked around the counter to take their order. This person should not have a job !!!

Even though both lanes were full we got out of there really quickly and the service was great. Merry Christmas to everyone here and thank you so much for being open!

We finally get to the window 3 different people ask what we ordered we told them. Well they had to still make our food, when we get our food after telling 3 people sausage, egg, and cheese. We received both the biscuit and taquito were bacon, egg, and cheese place is an absolute joke

I live an hour and a half away so I was in a panic and I noticed that a manager had the same truck as I did and seen that he was going into work at the Whataburger. I came in to see if I could get some help from him to jump my vehicle off unfortunately, he did not have any jumper cables, but was a tremendous help still by calling around trying to help me solve my issue.After spending quite a bit of his time helping me, he offered me and my family a meal on the house. I’m very grateful for Mr. Clay and the hospitality of this team. Everyone was very nice and the food was hot and tasty! I enjoy coming across people who is kind and helpful, we don’t have enough of this in the world so A huge thank you to the Whataburger team. Merry Christmas to you all and your families.
