  The food was great. Our server was really good and attentive. This was our first time eating here. We will definitely be back. I had the pot roast and it was cooked great. My son had the chicken tenders. He loved them as well. The rolls were great and warm. If you want a good southern restaurant to eat at as you pass through Troup we definitely recommend this place.

  Okay so me and my husband wanted to try a new place out that was kinda like home cooking and not a chain, we found this place an arrived at 9:02, we were treated fast, told to sit anywhere (they had to open the second section) first off it was a tundra in there and was so unenjoyable because of how cold it was. We got out drink order, then 10 minutes later got our food order put in. Here’s where the problems lay. First off again freezing cold in the room, like to the point of wanting to walk out. Second we didn’t get our food for about 45 minutes and when we asked for an update we were told the waffle maker was having issues but the kicker, we didn’t order a waffle so that had nothing to do with our meal. I take into consideration that they were a little busy. Maybe 7 tables all together and it was a little spot off the beaten path, but we didn’t have anyone come up to us and check on us in this wait, we had to stop them to get an update. Then they took off the one drink to make up for the wait which was cool but the price of the added pancake when from 1.99 to 2.07 and the price of the meals we got went up to and this was before tax and tip so no I think they just moved some money around. The food was okay but freezing to death trying to wait that long for food and have to eat fast so it doesn’t freeze infront of you was ridiculous and having to stop a waitress for an update cuz no one had talked to us in 40 minutes is crazy to me.
