Food is good service is nothing special you order they call your number out and you grab and go atmosphere is laden back i would give it all 5 stars but this location is smaller than the ones I have been before the others had a little more of that crazy fudrockers feel but all in all good place hoping they put one closer to the woodlands so it shortens the drive

Had lunch at the new Portillo’s in Tomball with the family. Got the classic Chicago-style hot dog, good snap on the casing and solid flavors. Nothing mind-blowing, though. (I expected more variety in hot dog options for some reason.)
The big Italian beef sandwich was huge as stated. Made it a combo to try the fries, which were just okay.
Wife enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich for its nice kick. Kids went with char-broiled burgers (full size), generous patties with that classic char flavor.
Self-serve refillable soda fountain, massive drive-thru, and super convenient setup for online orders/delivery apps with clear pickup areas.
Overall, solid classic fast food spot bringing Chicago vibes to Texas. Decent but not standout for my taste, worth a try if you’re curious!

I’ve driven by Portillo’s several times and finally decided to stop in. I ordered a sausage brat with everything, which came out to about $7. Unfortunately, the brat was lukewarm and not really worth the price.
The restaurant itself looks awesome inside, but I did notice quite a few dirty tables, which took away from the experience. Since it’s still a new location, I’m guessing they may be working through some early issues.
I’m willing to give it a second chance and try something else next time—maybe a burger—and see if the experience improves.

Not a pleasant experience for a first-time customer. On December 29, 2025 at 2:30 PM, I visited the Portillo’s location at 25531 Tomball Parkway, Tomball, TX 77375. I used the drive-thru.
A young man named Ardon came out from the restaurant to take my order. I ordered a hot dog, a drink, and a small cheese sauce. After swiping my card, he forgot to add the cheese sauce and had to run it again.
When I got to the window, I had to wait again, and when my food was brought out, the cheese sauce was still missing. On top of that, all of the fries were dumped at the bottom of the bag.
Overall, this was not a good first experience.

I just went thru the drive thru and was greeted by an amazing employee thru the drive thru outside. I believe her name was Alexandria. I wasn't sure where to pick up my order. So I parked and went inside. I told the lady and the employees inside. I was not sure where to pick up my order. I told the lady I placed an order for your amazing choc cake. I felt I was bothering her. She then proceeds to tell me to go get my own cake. So I did go get it. I then had to ask for a bag. I also had to ask for my rcpt. What happened to exceptional customer service just like the lady outside. She was the best above the rest!!! I only was going to get a slice but she convinced me how fresh and delicious the cake is. So ordered the entire cake for our family!
