Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- ABAmanda Brooke1 day ago2.0We were driving home and it was about midnight. We decided to stop in. My husband went inside but no one came to the counter to take his order so he figured itd be quicker going through the drive thru. We went and placed our order...we were in the line for 30 minutes with 2 cars ahead of us. We almost drove off but once we got to the window they said our food was ready but they didnt have any sugar for the tea. I am unable to drink anything but noncarbonated and no acidic drinks so I had ordered a sweet tea...no tea in site. Had to get water even though we placed the order and paid for a drink. No refund was offered. Idk what was going on but this place was a hit mess. And for those wondering there was a single couple in the dining room so they werent busy either. The food was alright..it was hot so there's that.

They were so accommodating friendly and got our orders put out not only fast but correctly it was an amazing time and all the boys were super happy. Thank you so much for your hospitality. She was running the counter by herself, helping everybody, staying cheerful, and handling it all like a pro. She was helpful, joyful, and had such a great presence about her. Honestly, she looked like she should be running the place. She made a regular fast food chain feel like somewhere special, and that is not something you come across often. Give that woman the recognition and raise she deserves.
