  Food was good, service was good and overall was able to enjoy time with family to celebrate a birthday. But we could have done the same at Chili's or Applebee's and saved a ton of money to have a similar experience. For what is charged for the food preparation and overall experience, I suggest looking elsewhere. If you're ok with just having an "OK" experience and leaving with a large bill just to say you can... have at it!

  Food was outstanding, drinks were well crafted Tiki time was a great cocktail, herb branzino , crab cakes , and the butter cake is a must for dessert, like you MUST get it even if you have no room lol

  This was my first time at this location. We were celebrating my wife' s birthday. We didn't have reservations but they made it happen. The services was pretty good. My wife had a food allergy, and we had to send her appetizer back. When we received it back, it was less or seem like it was less than the first time. We had my birthday dinner in January at the Galleria location. Before we placed our food the waiter asked about food allergies. So we completely forgot to to tell them as well. No biggie.. we ordered our food and the waiter made a suggestion and we went with it. Food was delicious. When we received our bill, we were charged for 2 shrimp and a 2 ounce of green sauce to go over the fish. The waiter failed to mention this would cost $22.00 which was disappointing. He was a good waiter don't get me wrong, but I think you should tell your guess if something is going to be an upcharge.

  The food was absolutely delicious and the service didn’t disappoint either. The issue was the knats flying around the table that dissatisfied me . I can’t justify spending hundreds of dollars at a restaurant with an insect problem. This is why I only gave them 3 stars. Justin was our server who was very professional and polite; he even took our picture when asked. The rest of the staff were friendly as well.

  We recently hosted an evening dinner workshop at Mastro’s Ocean Club, utilizing Rooms 2 and 3 for a group of 24 guests, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The space was perfectly suited for our event - comfortably filled without feeling crowded - and created an ideal setting for both engagement and flow. We also greatly appreciated being able to offer complimentary valet for our guests, along with the convenient proximity of the restrooms to the event space. The room itself felt refined and elevated, with a neutral, inviting palette that enhanced the overall guest experience. Sara, the Director of Events, was outstanding to work with. She was incredibly accommodating and flexible with our customized requests, including menu selections, bringing in our own florals, and incorporating personalized menu designs. Her communication throughout the planning process was seamless, and on the evening of the event, she was highly attentive and engaged. She approached every detail with professionalism and a consistently optimistic and collaborative approach. Jake and Pande, our dedicated waitstaff for the evening, provided excellent service. They were warm, attentive, and efficient - keeping everything on schedule while ensuring our guests were well taken care of throughout the night. We host events regularly and are continuously seeking to build long-term community partnerships with organizations that reflect a shared sense of intention and care. Based on this experience, we confidently foresee Mastro’s as a valued partner moving forward.
