Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- VVvalerplant5 days ago5.0Godspeed to the employees late at night, feeding us who just got out of work. Love getting Whataburger after a shift. But if when the employed get fed at Whataburger after work, then where do Whataburger employees get fed after their shift? Big fan of the paper and crayons they have out.

- SCSahara CarrJun 11, 20261.0I was there on the 3rd. It was maybe 1030-11. I had just left Houston Methodist hospital. Getting a lot of test done so I came to get my craving. The excellent whataburger. Well, the older lady at the front I kept asking questions only because I was coming off of some medicine that they had given me and she was so rude. I got the wings didn’t know if they came with the drink or fries she just looked at me pissed off “yes” “yes” and I’m telling you definitely looking at me like I’m stupid and really actually being rude. We told her it’s for here. Then she brings my stuff as it’s to go. No big deal. But then she ask me Oh my. You said for here! Is this ok!!!! I’m like about to answer, I DIDNT EVEN SAY ANYTHING. she yells at me to hand over the number and walks off. I work in food to and I know it’s hard but I also love pleasing my customers because they always come back and help my days sometimes turn even brighter. I don’t know what I did to this lady but I do apologize because I was also on medication but I know I wasn’t rude. I had a horrible day. I had just left crying. She could be a little nicer if she works at the front.
