There aren't enough stars...five isn't enough. Daylene is an awesome manager, who goes out of her way to ensure each customer has an exquisite culinary experience. This restaurant is everything, and everything on the menu is top-notch. And this is a fact: they have the BEST lobster bisque in the entire world. You can never go wrong when you eat here.

This is my first review ever — that’s how bad the food was.
I ordered the redfish with the Victoria topping, and it was bland and honestly disgusting. My mother had the mahi mahi with the same topping, and the gumbo was a solid negative three stars — a bowl of pure disappointment. The calamari appetizer was mostly fried breading with barely any calamari.
Thankfully, my wife enjoyed her steak — smart move avoiding the seafood.
I ended up wasting a $200 gift card. The only bright spot was our server, who was absolutely outstanding and the sole reason I even paid for the meal.

Landry's Seafood House in The Woodlands is now my favorite restaurant. I recently went to this location because I had just visited the Landrey's Seafood restaurant in Lake Charles at the Golden Nugget and ordered the best salmon entree that I had ever eaten in my life. To my dismay, The Woodlands location did not have this item on their menu. I couldn't remember the name of it. I could just remember some of the ingredients (blackened salmon, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, blackened shrimp, and a delicious cream sauce). Amber and Chef EJ were super accommodating. Chef EJ came out and spoke to me personally, and told me that he would do his best to replicate this dish, just going by my description. So, he was able to custom make this dish for me; and, let me tell you, it was even more delicious than what I got in Lake Charles. I really appreciated Amber's and Chef EJ's enthusiasm to make a customer happy! More waitstaff and chefs need to be like them. I could truly tell that they both love their jobs. I did find out the name of the dish. It's called "French Quarter Salmon". You've got to order this the next time you go to a Landrey's Seafood restaurant. You will not regret it!!

I do not understand what this restaurant is, or who it's for- white linen upscale seafood but they cook it like a cheap cafe, the oysters are from parts unknown and the staff has no idea how to sell them, the drinks were watery and service was slow even for a night where the whole place was empty- I genuinely think everyone here did their best, but their best is just not worth the money- I'd rather spend more to get better food, service and quality, or spend less to get what we got, but either way, somehow this just made it to my national "do not go" list, and higher on the avoidance than the previous top tiers like cheesecake factory and Maggianos who at least are good at the thing they say they do, even if it's bland and busy and repetitive, it's at least as good as advertised - Landrys was weak.
