When I was about to eat it there was this long black hair in it. I have blonde hair so it is quite literally impossible for it to be mine. I called the store to ask for a refund and the lady on the phone was so rude and difficult. Refused to refund it unless I brought in the hair sandwich. Ummm, I threw it away the second I saw that bc I wanted to throw up. What r u going to do, resell it? I told the lady this and she was like well u need to come in. We live not even close to here, why should we have to drive all the way back bc of your screw up??? That’s so dumb. I even read her the order number off the receipt and she still was difficult so I just gave it up because the lady wants to argue over $7. Horrible customer service, never had this experience at the other 2 HEBs in TW. Have not and will not shop here again. Moral of the story, don’t buy from their deli bc there’s no way that long hair was unnoticed. The employees making food should wear hair nets or at the very least have it pulled back. Working with food, cleanliness should be top priority. And not refunding it w out making me go out of my way is crazyyy.
