  Walked in because the person working drive thru could not understand my English. No one was in line or seated/waiting for food. All we ordered were 4 tacos and sat down to wait for our food. 30 min pass by. People that have walked in 10 min after us are getting their food so I walk up to the counter to see what’s taking so long, and my food is sitting on the kitchen counter waiting to be bagged. Waited 30+ minutes for 4 tacos, HIGHLY unprofessional and unorganized.

  When it comes to great tacos and service, Taqueria Taxco in the Colony is the best, we moved to the area back in 2023 and this has been evere since our favorite taco place, they've always served us with great and friendly attitude, the tacos al pastor (trompo) are my favorite but they have a variety of options, Carlos is always very attentive and has always help us with a big smile on his face, give it a try, you won't be disappointed

  This place always hits the spot, I order the trompo tacos or tortas with Jamaica. Haven’t found a better trompo taco than here. And the salsas are always fresh and tasty. Unlike “just hot” like other taquerias. The dishes always include sides and garnishes that are authentically Mexican. Can’t thank Carlos enough for a great dining experience!

  The black dollar is NOT valued here. On two separate instances this was proved to my fiancé and I but in on today, I draw the line. Ordered my food inside the store with the cashier and she didn’t speak English. No problem, I translated to Spanish. She was visibly frustrated and rude because of that. Why? No clue. My food came out wildly incorrect in which I asked for a correction and she let out a loud sigh. I was also given 2 sauces for 9 tacos (that I paid $35 might I add) and when I asked for more again, another loud sigh. I also noticed there wasn’t any cilantro on the tacos and when I inquired, she said (in perfect English might I add) “we don’t have anymore”. The “steak” is simply shredded roast beef, the meat is always cold, and the service is less than pleasant. It’s disheartening to be disrespected and blatantly shown that my patronism is unwanted not once but twice. I’ll never be back.

  Llegamos a ordenar a la caja donde también se paga al momento de ordenar, hasta aqui todo normal, el problema fue que se les olvido mi orden por mas de quince minutos, estuvieron sirviendo a personas que llegaron mucho después de mi y hasta que no le pregunte a una empleada el porque tardaba mi orden, para la cuál fue hasta la cocina y después regeso diciendo que ya la estaban preparando, el pretexto según ellos es que se les fue el Internet, no se que tenga que ver pero ese fue el pretexto para perder la orden, no ofrecieron algún porcentaje de crédito en una próxima visita o algún postre a manera de disculpa, fui allí ya que he ido a otros de sus locales en el metroplex, pero aquí si se sacaron una solo estrella de cinco....
