Love it at HEB, Texas City. Everything there is what I need. Friendly workers and customers. Clean floors, walls and ceilings.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience buying crawfish from HEB. I purchased a bag expecting fresh, live crawfish, but people's expectations were completely let down when I got home and opened the cooler — a large portion of them were already dead. For the price and the reputation HEB has, this is unacceptable. Crawfish are supposed to be sold alive and fresh, not lifeless and spoiled. It felt like there was zero quality control, and now I’m stuck sorting through and throwing away crawfish that shouldn’t have been sold in the first place. This is both a waste of money and a major food safety concern. Customers trust HEB for fresh seafood, especially during crawfish season, and this experience seriously makes me question their handling and storage practices. I expected better standards from a store like HEB.

There's no place like HEB. We live in Mississippi now but every time we come to Texas we load up on the things that HEB offers that we can't get. We sure do love and miss HEB.

Worst HEB I've ever been in. Empty shelves and coolers. Dirty floors.
