Date: October 3, 2025, around 9:15 p.m.
Location: 4003 N State Line Ave, Texarkana, TX 75503
I arrived a few minutes early for a scheduled pickup order and grabbed my customer's Diet Pepsi from the fridge while waiting. A man (who I later learned was the manager) approached me, took the Diet Pepsi from me, and put it back in the fridge while telling me I needed to leave it there until my order was finished. He then informed me of a mishap with one of the pizzas, saying it would take longer than my pickup time.
When I politely asked for an estimated wait time to update my customer, his tone shifted to rude and aggressive. He accused me of being "smart" and told me to leave, claiming I wasn't a customer.
Another employee kindly stepped in to assure me it would only be a few more minutes, which was helpful. However, the manager's behavior left me shocked and uncomfortable—I even asked to speak with a supervisor, only to realize he was the manager (ponytail, declined to share his name despite knowing mine from the system).
As someone who relies on timely service for my work, this unprofessional interaction wasted my time and eroded my trust in this location. I hope the team addresses this, as the rest of the staff seemed capable and friendly. Would love to see better training on customer de-escalation. Overall, 1 star—disappointing experience.
