- LLLaurieApr 18, 20263.0HEB for us is a hit or miss. We are evening/night shoppers. Most things we shop for are really not in stock when we go. Not sure what is going on with the Half & Half, it is a good thing Walmart and Aldi's carries it. The produce section is another hit or miss, somethings look great and others should be marked down substantially. The customer service is a hit or miss. You are supposed to be in the people business; we love great customer service. Certain cashiers do a much better job than others. Nicole(front end) I believe is her name and Rogelio has some great customer service. It has been great to interact with them. We appreciate the associates cleaning, but when cleaning the ceiling vents maybe you should make sure the food and other items are covered.

The last 4 times I've been here I haven't had good food experiences. 3 times I bought strawberries and they molded the next day. The last time, I got a discounted 100% ground beef, no additives as labeled but upon opening it smelled bad even though it was still red. After cooking it tasted and looked like pork. I tried to return it but the woman, although very polite, told me that she couldn't do anything for me because it was discounted.
