Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I love waterbuger but it takes way to long to get your food. Sitting in car line 30 min is horrible

This Whataburger location truly sets the standard for excellence. I travel often for work and have been in the restaurant industry for many years, so I’ve seen my fair share of places—but this one stands out as the best Whataburger in the county, hands down. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a young man with glasses who was incredibly polite, friendly, and professional. That kind of genuine hospitality immediately makes you feel welcome and valued as a guest. The restaurant itself was spotless—floors clean, tables wiped down, and everything well-organized, even during what was clearly a busy rush. It’s obvious that this team takes pride in their work and cares about their customers’ experience. The food came out hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared, which says a lot in today’s fast-paced industry. I also want to take a moment to highlight the manager on duty. He was exceptional—not only overseeing operations smoothly but also walking around the dining area to personally check on guests, including myself. That level of attention and genuine care is rare, and it shows his leadership and commitment to quality. Overall, this Whataburger represents everything great customer service and fresh food should be. It’s clear why it stays so busy—the team here truly takes pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be back, and I hope this crew knows how much their hard work and professionalism are appreciated.

My daughter was nice enough to go get dinner for me so I can take my meds. I’m currently healing from 13 broken ribs and a fractured spine as well as other things. A privileged at fault driver T boned me months ago and they only received a ticket. My food order was repeated twice at the drive thru and was ordered dry with only the chicken, lettuce and tomatoes on it. This Is what they gave her for me. I called and spoke to a supposed manager named Jae. He told me that I can come back tonight and have it remade or wait until Friday when he works again and he’ll remake it. Otherwise he claims there’s nothing he can do without a receipt. I repeatedly offered the sandwich to him. He ignored my numerous offer. He said he can’t leave a message to other managers about their mistake so I can not get the food the way I ordered it at my convenience. I guess I have to starve until Friday and it’s only Tuesday since this is when he told me I can come; on Friday; to receive what I paid for. How convenient for him. I told him I can’t come tonight and maybe not Friday either. Why does he get to choose when to correct his crew’s mistakes? My daughter didn’t say whether she had the receipt or not when I asked. This manager Jae tried to say it was not the order female’s fault but it’s the grill cook’s fault. I really don’t care whose fault it is but I heard my daughter repeat the order twice to the order taker since I was talking to my daughter over the phone while she was in Drive Thru. I heard my daughter say chicken, lettuce, tomatoes ONLY on Texas toast. I’m so disgusted right now. My vision is blurred at this very moment from being upset, stressed plus I’m a type 2 diabetic for over 25 years. I think my glucose is low and this manager suggest that I wait for 3 days for him to correct what we paid for already. Smh and the product looks disgusting. The order is made wrong and disgusting looking and I’m being penalized for others mistakes? Wow. Privileged. Smh sigh FYI Telling me to have a great night and saying bless me does not correct this situation but r make anything better. Fortunately, my daughter found the receipt before the call ended. So now I get to starve tonight without eating what my daughter paid for and she gets to waste more gas to go back for their mistake. At this point I think she should get a total order refund and an apology. Not once did this prideful person apologize. The sandwich looks gross and the toast has a cigarette burn in it. How do I post pictures? Thanks for nothing Jae. Throwing your cook under the bus still reflects poorly on you, your lack of management skills and this establishment.

My family and I came to this restaurant Monday night, October 20th, 2025 at around 11pm. Our cashier Mike greeted us as soon as walked in. He was very friendly and had outstanding customer service! You guys hit the jackpot with Mike as an employee. Will definitely return to have him serve us again!
