Water Street is my go-to when I need a breakfast treat. The waffles are crisp on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside with a hint of sweetness in the batter. Friendly staff, great location. I love to support local!

Nicole is great -- she checked in on us consistently without being overbearing or annoying. She was funny and has a friendly and genuine personality. Food was freaking phenomenal, I wanted to order multiple plates of the house potatoes!! The kitchen is scratch, so it does take a minute. Don't come if you're in a hurry, but if you just wanna vibe, this is the place!!!

The food was….. i don’t even know! We waited for an hour & a half and eventually left because we ere told there was still several tickets ahead of ours. Our server came by one time to refill the drinks. I understand that it’s not the servers fault our food took a long time but the service was still very slow. We were told it’d be around 45 minutes for our food but almost two hours seems excessive.

This location has pretty good food , as well as good and fast service… when the right manager is there. Its a black guy with dreads , If he is not there, you might as well turn around because the food may not be done right and you could be waiting for a long time.

Was only going to be in temple for a day and wanted to get some breakfast that wasn’t whataburger, ihop, or Denny’s. I normally do my research on an establishment ahead of time but this trip was so spontaneous and I had no serious plans after so I took a chance and rolled the dice on this place and it was soooooo worth it. We went at peak brunch time so it was about a 20-30 minute wait, no biggie and the staff did warn me that they are a scratch kitchen so the food sometimes takes 45 minutes to an hour to prepare. And again it’s a SCRATCH KITCHEN… meaning the food the staff prepares is made from SCRATCH for people who are not patient enough to wait and not order appetizers or drinks while waiting. No biggie if you’re not on a time crunch. We got the fried green tomatoes (delish😋 I never had pepper jam before and it’s my new obsession), and the rattlesnake poppers (I believe that’s what they’re called, they were like jalapeño poppers but with chorizo, cream cheese, with a potato crust), I got an iced chai with almond milk, and my husband and I split the Mimosa flight (pineapple, pomegranate *my fav*, apple and regular orange juice). The appetizers came out fairly quick. The food did take a little over 45 minutes but not the full hour and was still hot and fresh when we received it. I definitely recommend trying their signature waffles ( I got the strawberry and cream waffle that came with pecans, and mascarpone for the cream which was a nice touch to the sweet strawberry syrup)
The staff was very friendly and informative about their menu options and next time I’m in temple I’ll def come back.
