  I recently visited the Tom Thumb location in Sunnyvale, and I can honestly say this is the best Tom Thumb experience I’ve ever had—and I’ve been shopping at Tom Thumb for many years! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Every employee I passed spoke and acknowledged me, which made such a difference. That level of customer service is rare these days, and it truly stood out. The staff here is absolutely impeccable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. You can tell they take pride in their work and in serving their customers. I also had the chance to taste some baked beans from the deli, and let me just say—they were the best baked beans I’ve ever had in my life! I even met the person who made them and had to personally thank them. That alone made my visit memorable. Overall, this location sets the standard for what a grocery store experience should be. Clean, welcoming, and full of outstanding service. Hands down, the best Tom Thumb ever! I will definitely be returning again and again.

  I was really impressed with the store. The staff made a point of greeting me and asking if I needed help. More variety in products I was looking for. Highly recommend it.

  Love the store. BUT the fish market stinks up most of the store. Makes the departments around it seem they have rotten items.

  I was hoping the meat department was going to be better than the other older locations since this one is a new location, Oh boy, I was wrong. Got some fajitas, citrus lime chicken and shrimp... Quality was 2 out 5. The chicken even smelled bad when I got home and tossed it on the grill, we couldn't eat it The fajita shrunk so much, that the 2 ponds I got, almost became one pound once cooked wonder why 🤔, never had this happen with fajitas from other places.

  I was so excited to come to this store since it would be closer. I've already had so many bad experience and the store and it hasn't even been opened for that long. The produce always looks like it's been sitting out for weeks and they still have it out people to purchase . Today was the last straw , I have placed various online orders and most of them always have "out of stock items." Today same thing, i picked up my order and went inside to buy something i forgot to add to my orders and all of the out of stock items were on the floor. And it wasn't like 3-4, it was a whole pallet and shelf filled with the items, I was livid. The person at the service desk honored the prices on my orders as she agreed with me, she doesn't understand with they would place then out of stock. Not coming back to this tom thumb, rather make the distance to other tom thumb that actually value the customers.
