  We came for iftar on Thursday and they turned us down. We called 3 times to ask if we needed reservations and no one picked up. She was rude and turned us down. Didn’t apologize for not picking up and just said they were busy. They should pick up their phones or get back to callers if they strictly need reservations. We drove 40 minutes so just want to warn others.

  Came for the buffet, which is Wednesday nights and every night during Ramadan. It's so hard to stop eating, all of the food is delicious. The buffet menu rotates so you won't get bored if you come often. Free mango lassi included, the orange cream cake is delicious. All the stir fry is perfectly flavored and the fried ones are incredibly crispy. Even the chicken nuggets and French fries are amazing. Staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Recommend making a reservation during Ramadan because they are often fully booked.

  Had a great experience at LY’s Kitchen for iftaar buffet. Nothing fancy but flavorful food and prompt service. The chicken corn soup and hot & sour soup were both very flavorful, and the mango lassi was excellent. We also really enjoyed the Mongolian beef, spring rolls, dumplings, and chicken curry shrimp all very tasty and well prepared. What impressed us most was that there was always enough food available and everything was being replenished regularly, so no one had to stand around waiting for dishes to come out. It made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely recommended 😊

  Oh my goodness! To have a halal Chinese buffet in Houston again?? It was a joy!! The halal food options were wonderful!! 3 chicken dishes, 1 beef item, rice, noodles, dumplings, and 3-5 appetizers with 2/3 dessert options! I mean what more can you ask for? Really nicely priced and very speedy, kind, professional customer service. I ate with a group of friends (8) and it was a really pleasant experience. The desi crowd is tough to please and we’re lowkey hovering over the dishes waiting for the dishes to be refilled in such a busy hour which they should have common sense to go sit and eat instead of eating while hovering over the almost empty trays waiting for them to be filled again. I will be back!!! 10/10

  I came for the Wednesday buffet, which is actually a month long buffet in Ramadan. For the month of Ramadan the buffet menu rotates daily. It's a small selection of very high quality options, typically 4 proteins, 2-3 carbs, 2-3 appetizers, 2 soups, 2-3 desserts, and some special drinks are included (mango lassi was there the day I went). There was nothing I didn't like, all of the food in the buffet was freshly cooked, extremely flavor, and honestly just delicious. All of the staff are heart warmingly kind, such beautiful souls running this restaurant that was opened in January 2025. I will certainly be back, so lucky to have found this wonderful restaurant.
