Old five star review removed, I sent this to your staff after our last event and no one even bothered to reply:
the experience wasn't the same quality as last time, unfortunately. Last time, we were lucky to have two hosts as our host was training someone and they were fantastic. This time, we had one and it started off on the wrong foot. We came in and I was greeted and asked if I wanted to go over the contract just coming off the street.. having been over it, I curtly said no. And, everything went downhill after that more or less. There was still service with a smile, but everything that needed an instance of anticipation or thought didn't happen. She was the worst from that point on. I would say I will not be returning mainly based on our helper's slow speed and lack of attentiveness even though she did maintain a pleasant demeanor and smile throughout. What does it matter, though, if you have to basically do everything yourself. The decorating wasn't the same.. granted we had fewer decorations but she didn't really do anything with what I had. I also had to essentially take over the cake cutting but she did help pass it out with someone else. When I didn't have a candle, she did point me to the FIVE below store which was a delay and a walk. No table clothes, like last time. Several people, including my wife, commented that the service wasn't up to snuff. Maybe it should be a two person job, but our hostess didn't get it done. And, yet, I tipped her cash nonetheless, because I used to be a watier myself.
Several disappointments:
1) Extremely slow service and needed to supervise my own hostess and direct to the majority of next steps (not getting drinks at bowling is also another complaint that I did request.. but not that huge of a deal)
2) Customers smelling like marijuana at a kids party place
3) Last time, my son got extra points on his own card and got a nice plushy as part of our package... thought I was getting that this time as well as I requested the same deal. Wrong. So, as icing on the cake, he got a gummy w/e.
4) Hostess got our cards wrong... which she did apologize for. She initially handed me cards for another party which weren't at all what we ordered.
4) It was more expensive.
So, I paid more, and had a worse time. The kids had fun, though, for the most part. But, hey, they're kids. I, however, was disappointed. And so was my wife. Won't be coming back and neither will any of our friends.
