Everything is amazing here, but I want to start my review with a special thank you to our waiter Jeremy. I have a young rambunctious daughter who does not stop moving. She's been extra cranky from her molars coming in and tonight was no better. I went out to eat with some friends from out of town and Jeremy went above and beyond. He truly saw me as a mom and that having a small child can be hard. He cast no judgement and instead he offered kindness where it truly mattered. He didn't make a big deal out of offering a small token of help ad instead made me feel seen and made my life 1000* easier with one small act. I have always loved lazy dog and their atmosphere the people here are amazing and the food is always on point. But tonight the staff and Jeremy truly made lazy dog a special place for me and my family.

Pleasant surprise! We thought it was a hot dog place, but nope! We had the seasonal hibiscus margaritas. Gave Hawaiian vibes! 🌺 The menu has a huge selection of food items. Whatever flavor you're craving it's probably on there. We started off with the complimentary house chips, they were so good perfect balance of vinegar and bbq chips with a creamy dipping sauce. We tried the two soup offering tomato and tortilla. They were both flavorful and so fresh tasting. We also tried the Brussel sprouts. Pure goodness! By the time our main dishes came we were happy and almost full! We ordered the loco moco rice and the flat iron steak. Neither one disappointed!! It was all so good. Our server Mitch was very engaging. He told us all about the restaurant mission, along with some insider tips! We will definitely be back! 10/10

I've tried this place. First time was with my girlfriend. She liked it okay. I did not. The manager asked if it was our first visit and when we said yes she gave us a coupon for a free appetizer. So I thought okay, I'll give it another shot. The second time I brought my daughter. My daughter didn't like it and again, neither did I. Something is weird about their seasoning. The food was very fresh though. I tried the roast beef sandwich, the quesadilla or whatever the pork thing is called, the brussel sprouts which weren't bad but they were overcooked and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and spinach. They had a special going where the Fried Chicken Dinner came with a s'mores dessert. They were very skimpy with the ice cream and it wasn't that flavorful overall anyway. I like the atmosphere. The employees were just fine. But the food just was a very flavorful. I signed up for the membership and was given another free appetizer. So I will try it one more time, a different dish.

This was our first time visiting Lazy Dog, and unfortunately it was by far the worst experience we’ve had at a restaurant. When we arrived, we asked to be seated outside. The hostess took quite a while and repeatedly stopped to talk to others before finally seating us. We were patient and didn’t make an issue of it.
However, once seated, no one ever came to our table. Servers clearly saw us sitting there but continued to attend to every other table except ours. After waiting over 10 minutes without even being greeted, I finally went back to the hostess stand to ask what was going on.
The most uncomfortable part was realizing that we were the only Black family seated outside, which made the situation feel even more unacceptable and concerning. At that point, we decided to leave.
Absolutely horrible service and a very disappointing first impression. We will not be returning.

We ended up at Lazy Dog by pure luck after realizing our original spot didn’t have a full bar—which was a non-starter for kicking off holiday break. Best pivot we could’ve made.
From the jump, the hostess greeted and seated us quickly, and our server was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and on point the entire time. We started with Hibiscus Margaritas, quickly upgraded to a pitcher (zero regrets), and jumped into appetizers.
The roasted red pepper hummus with parmesan crisps surprised me in the best way—really good. The Brussels sprouts and lettuce wraps were the clear standouts, an easy 10/10 and the main reason I’ll be back. Some other apps were hit-or-miss for my taste, but that happens.
The vibe was relaxed and clean, with a nice buzz once the Friday after-work crowd rolled in. The manager checked on us multiple times, gifted us their house-made potato chips (Chef’s Snacks—crispy and addictive), and even gave us appetizer coupons after hearing we work at a school and were scouting a spot for a happy hour social. That kind of genuine hospitality goes a long way.
Solid drinks, strong food highlights, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Lazy Dog definitely earned a return visit.
