Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Me and my stop here around 5:18pm on 11/8/2025. We placed order they told us to pull to lane B. The guy took out a order to a car and came to us for payment we pay. Then we set there for about 10 minutes waiting for our food. 2 or 3 car placed they order after us, received they food before us. The guy came to take the payment from person behind me, so I stopped him and asked him about our food he told me some bs about they was waiting on fries. I told him we would like to get our money back then he told me our order was ready and walked off. I go in to get the refund and another person meet me at the counter we our food. I take the food go back to get the car as I was driving off my wife got the food out and the was not hot for us to waiting on fries and they was not hot. This was some bs, I had gotten on the service road so I couldn't turn around and go back. The service was terrible. No apologies or nothing for the delay.

I usually love coming here but today on 11/06/25 5:15pm shift
I ordered 2 number ones, nothing fancy or extra, and waited over ten minutes for them to come out. Other cars were getting their food behind us. I asked for a manager and she was smirking and chucking the whole time I explained the issue to her. While I was speaking, the food came and it was super cold almost as if it was just sitting out for a while. Horrible service and horrible management you need to do better

This Whataburger is always busy. The service is great and usually visit this location at least twice a month.

Ordered my food 20 minutes ahead on the mobile app and every time I had to wait 30 Minutes or more. Poor customer service poor management.
