Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I have to mention how great their Dr. Pepper shakes are! They're rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the iconic Dr. Pepper flavor. In fact, every shake on their menu is outstanding. The cashier was actually helping until the manager Brian Hernandez basically told me I needed to get out and if I couldn't see i need to LOOK at the menu online, like really? I've never been treated like this and this is coming from somebody that has 25 years in finedining, bartending and running restaurants. I felt I was discriminated based on being visually impaired. The manager needs to learn how to talk to people appropriately.

Thankfully, traffic was heavy enough that they had time to realise it and get the rest of my order out to me before i left. As far as the food goes, the fries were terrible. They were tiny, cold and stale as if they are cut from baby potatoes and cooked with the heat lamp or maybe I just got the last of the batch they cooked early in the morning. Either way, a waste of money. The extra pickles i ordered amounted to a total of 4 little slices... I stopped coming to this location a long time ago for the same reasons and this was no different.
