Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customer service experiences varied widely, with some praising staff for being friendly and attentive, while others reported rude behavior and poor communication.
Food Quality
While many customers enjoyed the food, there were consistent complaints about incorrect orders, food quality issues, and long wait times.
Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the restaurant was noted positively by some, but others reported dirty dining areas and restrooms.
Order Accuracy
Numerous reviews highlighted issues with order accuracy, with customers frequently receiving incorrect items or missing components.
Wait Times
Long wait times were a common complaint, particularly during busy hours, affecting overall customer satisfaction.

I had a terrible experience at this Whataburger a while ago. I came through the drive thru. As I was entering, two young ladies start telling me and my family that we need to change lanes and get in the outside lane. So I do and when I stop to give my order, one of them made it so unpleasant and awkward for us. I literally had to tell her everything 3-5 times. She started the order over completely twice and here we go again making me repeat more. Then I give her a gift card to pay and she swipes it and empties it. I pay the remaining balance with cash at which point she says she needs to cancel because she can't accept two dollars for the remainder. Then she tries to just get rid of me by telling me I will have to cut in front of someone and force myself back into lane one which they would allow me in from the beginning. I said I'm not cutting in front of those people. She then starts hollering about her problem to the other lady. We finally told her she needs to get it handled with the register. She tells us to pull up and so we relectantly do where a guy who was acting as if they don't properly drug test their employees, takes my money and doesn't tell me if he will be back with change and a receipt. So I'm left guessing, so I asked. He replied by yelling a foot from me and my family, "of coooooooouuurrrse" with disrespect and sarcasm.

Don’t get the Powerade. They never mix it properly and it’s always too much syrup. I’ve never gotten a right tasting Powerade from this specific location in the 2 years I’ve lived in this area. I really don’t get it because no other Whataburger is like this.
