I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s at least twice a week for the past 3 years. My kids love the Happy Meals, and I’ve ALWAYS ordered the same thing every time...substituting fries for an extra pack of apples. I’ve done this well over 100 times without a single issue.
Today, I was told by the "manager" (mmmm-hmmm🫤) Mari, that this substitution was not allowed not now or ever. When I explained that I’ve made this exact swap at this location for years, her response was simply, “Oh well.”
I understand policies can change, but the dismissive attitude and lack of basic customer service over something this small is stupid and pretty disappointing.
Losing a long time customer over a simple apple-for-fries substitution seems unnecessary.
Thumbs down, McDonalds... I won't ever be coming back!
