  I went with the family to eat at the Sunday evening buffet on February 22nd at the Louetta location. I had to say I was dissapointed. When we arrived they had some pizza and pepperoni rolls out but as the crowd grew they did not restock the buffet table. In addition, the soft drink dispencer was out of commission. A sign said the CO2, ice and water was out of order and we could have two drinks out of the cooler instead. The soda dispenser looked like it came out of Chernobyl. The back of the machine, which faces the line to get in, was crusted over in some spots with a white material. Beneath the serving area were two cookie sheets which I guess were to catch runoff from the machine. Beneath the machine was still a wreck with more crusty white material forming. A lady, who I assume was the manager, arrived and seemed to get things moving again. More pizza and pepperoni rolls were served and all seemed well. The bathroom, however, smelled like it was going septic and needed a rinse in bleach. Leaving the bathroom, across the hall, was the door to the back room. It was open and had all the cleaning supplies piled up. It looked so nasty seeing all those bottles and mops piled up. Lastly, I heard the manger saying to a customer they were busy and short staffed in the kitchen. She also said they were moving to a new location. This would explain the dilapidated state of the bathroom and the soda machine being on its last legs. I do believe the pepperoni rolls and pizza was very tasty just like always. The desserts were also very good. It is to bad everything came out so late. I will give Double Dave's another try, but they will have to improve their game. I understand sometimes restruants are caught short staffed and they get hit with a big to-go order. But this was bad. Chris

  I enjoyed the history chat of this business (forgot his name...maybe Kevin?) and the information shared on the ways all the items are made. We live in Spring, about 12 miles and will be making many mini-road trips this way! Loved the atmoshere and great pizza!

  This place feels like it’s being held together by shoe strings and bubble gum. At noon it’s empty. Pizza all looks old and the soda machine has been broken for like six months. I’ve given this place multiple chances as I’ve always loved coming here. But it’s not the same anymore. It a shame really.

  Staff, food, vibes over all. Great buffet deal. If you come in with kiddos, bring quarters!
