Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- NMnaira Medeiros6 days ago5.0I visited the restaurant and ordered several meals to go on 17 March 26, I am not completely sure if the manager's name is Patrick Doyle (on receipt as operating partner), but the young man in charge was extremely polite and provided excellent service, same with the cashier. The place looked very clean, and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. I will definitively coming back! My family and I love supporting our local businesses.

Whataburger has always been known for being a reliable late-night option, so this change is frustrating and honestly takes away one of the main reasons people choose to go here. If the location is going to stop being 24 hours, closing at 12 still doesn’t make much sense—at the very least it should stay open until 1 so people getting off late shifts or out late still have somewhere to go.
