Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I stood there and found out that they are behind on orders so I tell the lady at the front that I was picking up my order and she LITTERALLY rolled her eyes and walked away..strike 1. I went to sit down and over heard a couple saying how they have been waiting an hr for their food. The husband got pissed and left, poor wife got left behind with me. sorry. now im gonna wait and see how long it takes. No straws, unsweet tea instead of the sweet tea I ordered, asking for extra sauce on burger and paying to add jalapeños and getting a burger so dry you couldn’t even swallow it and without the jalapeños I paid for. Large fries halfway full. And on top of all that this Whataburger is independently owned so their prices are higher on everything compared to every other Whataburger. You’re paying a premium price for less quality. Do yourself a favor and drive to the one in new caney or porter or even Cleveland depending on where you live this place just can’t get it together.
