I asked if they would take cash. The response: “No. You have to order on the app!” Never had that kind of nonsense in a restaurant before. No options given. No sympathy or understanding of my frustration expressed. Perhaps I should have asked to speak with the manager. However, I feared getting the same response from the person in charge. Did this worker really think that requiring me to download an app, set up an account, enter my credit card information, probably wait for a confirmation email, and then place an order for a burrito was a reasonable thing to ask, or demand, of a customer standing in front of them? During lunch break no less. It had been over a year since I last ate at a Chipotle because my last experience at a different location was also a bad one. Not sure I’m ever going to give Chipotle another chance. Definitely not this location.
