I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Central Market. I purchased fish that was clearly not fresh, and when I opened it at home, the smell was absolutely horrible. It was obvious right away that it had gone bad and should never have been sold to a customer.
For a store that prides itself on quality, this was unacceptable. Selling spoiled seafood is not only disappointing but also concerning from a food safety standpoint. I expected much better standards and quality control.
I won’t be purchasing seafood from here again, and I would caution others to carefully check what they’re buying.

This review is for the Southlake Central Market Cafe. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because we've eaten lunch here before, and it was fairly decent. My family and I had breakfast there earlier today and it was literally one of the worst meals I've ever eaten.
There is no way the food was freshly made. The scrambled eggs were cold (almost refrigerator cold), the potatoes were cold, the pancakes were luke warm, the toast was burnt. Everything tasted stale and old. And I've never ever seen scrambled eggs before with bits of fried egg in them. I'm convinced they either took food that was returned or not completely eaten and just mixed it all together and reserved it. There was also hair in the eggs.
My wife and I have had upset stomachs all afternoon. I should've went back and requested a refund it was that bad, but I didn't bother. I'm actually going to change my review to 1 star. You shouldn't serve old recycled food to the public. It's a serious health risk. We will definitely not be returning here to eat ever. Sucks too, because the set up is actually nice, and the kids' playground makes it a good family place to dine. But Central Market Cafe, you can't be serving people trash food. That's not good for business or people's health and safety.

The catering team at this location is fantastic! They have worked consistently with all my event venue limitations, helping me design complete food service for large, four-day events as well as smaller intimate events such as baby showers. I would give their team 10 stars if they were available!

This used to be a 5-star review, but I deleted it after what happened today.
The man who was making my bouquet was extremely rude. It is absolutely unacceptable to speak this way to your regular customers.
I brought a picture with me, and I don’t think I asked for anything impossible. I clearly said that the picture was just an idea and that I did NOT need the exact same flowers. All I asked for was to use the large leaf and place the READY bouquet (which had already been assembled by your shop) on top of it.
The man kept saying, “Oh, that’s impossible,” and was constantly nervous and irritated.
He didn’t even try to look at the reference photo I placed on the table for him. Instead, he was just placing flowers randomly, without any sense of harmony, like he simply didn’t care about the result.
When I politely asked him to place the large round yellow flowers on different sides of the arrangement, he got visibly annoyed and started aggressively rearranging and pushing the flowers back in very roughly.
On top of the price of the flowers, he charged an extra 35% for his work (as he told us). Fine, no problem — I paid it. But even during the process of choosing flowers, he didn’t offer any help or suggestions. He simply ignored us.
When he was calculating the price, everything was completely non-transparent. He even hid the calculator and was entering his own numbers privately. I am honestly convinced that I was overcharged for this bouquet.
Also, please look at the photo — you can clearly see how carelessly and messily he placed the paper under the leaf. It looks very sloppy and unprofessional.
The management of this store should really pay attention to this employee. He behaves like someone who absolutely hates his job and the customers.
When we were paying for the bouquet at the register, I turned around to look at this “florist,” and he was looking at us with a smirk.
I have never in my life encountered such an unprofessional flower shop employee.
Will I ever return to this store to buy flowers again? NEVER.
