Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun.     Waited over 40 minutes and they brought out cold fries and dry patties. People who came after us got their food before. Very unprofessional these workers need training. Patty melt didn’t have onions and the cheese was very cold. I’d be fine waiting 40 min if the food came out good but no.

    We were trying to get in and out. I understand as I’ve worked in the food industry that accidents happen but there was no urgency to correct their mistake in placing my “for here food” to go and causing my party to wait thus giving us cold food. I requested at least fresh fries for the mistake but watched them place the same order that was in the bag onto the tray. The manager/shift lead didn’t bother to correct there wrong and I will no longer be returning to this location. :( 2-15-26 (9pm)

    2 stars because the wait wasn't 30-45 minutesv like before. I had hoped that a brand nee store would mean better quality. I was wrong. Burger was cold, cheese wasn't remotely melt3d on the burger, still cool to the touch. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce and mustard only. Got a cheeseburger with everything, except noticeable mustard. Fries were cold, drink was wrong size and I will not ever go back. Why even open another Whataburger...ever???

    Ordered food and didn’t put half the order in the bag and didn’t say that they were out of it when we were there in management did nothing to remedy the situation

    I’m giving service 1 star because I patiently waited for nearly a hour for my food which was just a double meat burger, other people beside us were getting their food first but that isn’t fair to them because they won’t be able to get out until the people infront of them move, by the time they get home their food will be cold. When I finally got to the drive thru window I got my money to give to the lady who totally ignored us. Somebody should be working the switchboard and somebody should be working the window. I drove off without Getting my food after waiting about an hour. Edit: I returned to eat here again and my experience was the same. Waiting an hour for the staff to finish cooking, one of the workers even approached me and asked me if I needed something and I just said “ I’m just waiting for my order to be ready “ then he walked off not saying anything. I don’t know what happened after this place has been renovated but the new staff aren't great at their job. Management needs to look into this terrible service and slow orders because this is just ridiculous and unprofessional.
