This evening I went through the drive thru and ordered a luxe box and a large nacho fry. I had asked for some chips and cheese but then changed my mind and asked for it to be removed from my order before I was done at the drive thru screen. The guy working the drive thru tonight audibly sighed and said “is that it”. So I said yes sir and he gave me the total. Anyways, I get to the window and hand him my cash and once again he sighs real loud while I hand him the change and then he closes the window. I guess we aren’t allowed to pay in cash anymore? He comes back and hands me my food and drink. I don’t see a straw so politely I ask if there is a straw in the bag and he just looks at me and then grabs a straw from the I guess basket above him and hands it to me. I say thank you and he hands me my change and then shuts the door. I got home and although I paid for a large nacho fry I got a small. I try to give people grace because maybe they’re just having a rough night but at some point professionalism is expected in the food industry and it wasn’t shown tonight. I usually have a good experience with this Taco Bell but tonight’s interactions and outcomes have changed my mind on this establishment or at least their staff. Hopefully this can be improved.
