Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported long wait times, incorrect orders, and unprofessional staff behavior.

Food was fine, the chicken strips tasted like Cheeto puffs. The fries had like a pound of salt all my family could taste was the salt. The staff were ignorant and acted deaf almost, the wait time was pretty fast. The music was too loud. Never eating here

We had another person pay for our food or I wouldn’t have sat that long. The staff were not very friendly. They ignored customers. Took 45 minutes to get our drinks. A hour to get our food. They didn’t know their registers. Gave me the wrong drink. Had an attitude with me when I brought up the wait time. Let food just pile up instead of pushing it out. Then made us wait. But when some young teenagers came in 30 minutes after us. They got their food before us because they were goofing off with the cashier. This restaurant used to be better but seems like everyone from the managers to the crew didn’t know what they were doing.
