  I ordered the Chicken Tinga Tacos. The chicken was very tough, and hard to chew. The black beans had absolutely no flavor, but the rice was very good. The "fire roasted" salsa needed salt, and a tad more heat. And the preparer added too much sweetness to the salsa. I've had far superior salsas elsewhere. And what we paid for our meal...I expected a far better good taste experience.

  Great food/great service/ great atmosphere! It was our first time here and we came for lunch! We had combination plates which were fantastic!!! TERRANCE, our server was fantastic. He went through the menu with us and even sold us on delicious sopapillas!!! Would definitely return to try their fajitas and other menu items!

  For those of you new to Texas, make plans to visit Pappasitos or the sister restaurant Pappadeaux. The food is always superb, waitstaff is friendly, and the atmosphere is engaging. It needs to be on your to do list.

  Charles is 1 in a Million! I don’t typically leave reviews, but something occurred over the weekend that necessitated a comment. My wife & I were dining in Miss Hailey’s section, who was a peach, by the way. However, this is about a server who was in an area close by. My family doesn’t get to dine out much and we were enjoying our meal via a gift card. During our time in the restaurant, I must have dropped the card on the ground, maybe pulling my phone out or something. Regardless, this young man found our means of dining on the ground and asked all neighboring guests who had dropped it. Not only should his honesty be commended, but when we told him we didn’t have cash to reward his efforts, he said this: “Doing the right thing isn’t about the outcome; it’s about what you do when no one is watching.” He only asked that we promise to show our smiling faces in the building again soon - which will 1,000% happen. What a great guy. Thank you again, Charles!

  I love pappasitos cantina we go everytime we are in the Magnolia/Houston area. To be honest all of the papa restaurants are good especially the seafood. The place is huge inside and there is often a wait on the weekends of an hour or more. There is bar seating where you can order food if your a party of 1-2 is best. I would not say authentic Mexican food more of cali/tex/Mexican vibe with some food being more authentic than others. Their ceviche app is really good and fresh. I love their basket of chips and the salsa is one of the better ones - roasted and still a little texture not smooth. We usually get the family fajitas with chicken which is always juicy- I actually like the chicken more than the steak and thats not the norm for me. So order extra housemade tortillas. Drinks are always strong -I like the margarita flight. Beware during the weekend (not aure about weekdays) they have live band roaming around and then peoole talk very loud - it gets soo loud you can barely hear anything. When the weather is nice the outdoor patio is perfect.
