  I guess they don't care anymore. The service was awful. We had to wait too long for drinks and refills. Our assigned server took our order, got us a second basket of chips, got us to-go boxes, and the check. Other servers did everything else: The first basket of chips, initial drinks, and brought out our food. My wife went to the bar to get refills on our drinks because our server was nowhere to be found. The appetizers came out only a couple of minutes before our main course because the server let them die in the window. Because of that, the Shrimp Diablo were chewy. But they were also extremely underseasoned. No spice whatsoever. The chicken fajitas and potato taquitos were good. They need to get their standards of service back to what they used to be. I would have liked to speak to a manager, but there wasn't one around anywhere.

  First time eating at Pappasito’s Cantina. The food was really good. We got the chicken fajitas for 2. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because we ordered both flour and corn tortillas. The corn tortillas did not come out with the food and I had to wait almost 8 minutes to get them. Other than that the atmosphere, the music, and the food was great! Also, other than the tortillas, the service was great as well.

  My experience here last night was disappointing and underwhelming and it was the same for the other five people dining with me. We have been coming to Papasito’s for at least 35 years. To start with our service was mediocre at best. Our service was slow and while they were busy, they were not as busy as many of the other times I’ve dined here. Our server did not come back to check on our table after our food was served until we were finished eating and our water glasses were long empty. The salsa was not the same salsa that we are used to getting at Papasito’s. It was terrible, not even close to what they used to serve. I ordered the beef fajitas, a $45 meal. While the cook on the fajitas was perfect , they had no flavor. I order beef fajitas every time I come here and tonight these were SO disappointing. The cup of charro beans that was served with my meal while tasty the cup that they serve it in was less than 1/2 full. Usually with Fajitas you get a side of guacamole, but there wasn’t any with my meal and I couldn’t tell the server because he didn’t reappear until we were finished eating. Everyone else at the table experienced similar disappointments with their meals as well. It will be a long time before I come back here.

  I was quoted a wait time of 25 minutes. I sat there for almost an hour noticing customers seating themselves ahead of guests that had waited for almost an hour. The text notifier wasn’t working, however, that’s because the tables had already been filled without following the order of guests. The staff was still really nice, but I think there should be more structure for holidays due to the increased number of guests. My waiter was extra nice as well as the chef that came out to assist until our waiter got there. They handled themselves very well under pressure.

  Let me start off by saying that I am the last person to ever take the time to write a review but for this I had to. My girlfriend and I decided to come to this location last night, and let’s just say that our experience did not match the $145 before tip that we were charged for Fajitas and 2 margs. First her drink came out incorrectly which was fine it wasn’t a big deal and we didn’t even send it back. Then the queso came out cold and again out of just not being “extra” we didn’t send it back. Then, our server who you could obviously tell it was his first day on the floor recommends us this fajita special they have and we okay’d it as long as they could do all beef with no up charge to which he said yes. The fajitas come out, barely any beef at all and it’s cooked rare and was very chewy. The shrimp tasted very fishy and overall was just not very good. At this point we were annoyed but it is what it is, you win some you lose some so we requested the check. To our dismay, the server brought out the check with an up-charge for the beef even though he confirmed it would not be an up-charge. We tell him to go talk to his manager, and then she comes over (short Caucasian lady with brown hair) obviously under the influence of some type of stimulant drug (literally acting cracked out) and keeps repeating “IF YOU COME BACK AGAIN WERE GONNA HAVE TO CHARGE YOU THE FULL PRICE” yea okay then tell your server not to lie… needless to say, we will never go against our better judgement again and continue to give Lupe our business. The food and service there is much better! Not sure how this place has so many good reviews lol they must be fake.
