I have been coming here since I was a little kid! Chelsea was our server, and she was lovely! We ordered raw oysters, crawfish, shrimp kisses, and cocktails! Everything was amazing!

Googled a creole seafood place in the woodlands and Babins popped up. Went with my daughter and brother. Vanessa was our server. Extremely polite and knowledgeable and gave us super suggestions. Food and service was top notch. It was recently acquired by Landrys.

Good was good but I expect a higher level for thr price point. Staff was professional and attentive. I love the Cajun spices but found them in places that were unexpected, making it difficult for my wife to enjoy most of thr dishes we expected to be safe from those spices. The chefs special grouper was good but the fish seemed slightly overcooked and would have had little flavor without the Cajun spices. I understand the disparity there but I have had better at half the price. We are new to the Houston area so will be trying other seafood restaurants, I won't likely be back here with my wife though without some tamer options. Cesar salad was awesome with the option of having anchovies on it, most places don't seem to offer that option.

Mary is freaking AMAZING 😍! I'm a very habitual person and I came here once before and ordered a dish that I thought was chicken jambalaya. That was not on the menu. I ended up getting something else that I really didn't like. I didn't want to bother them more than I already had, so I just put it in a to-go box. I was going to figure it out later. Mary came by and asked me how my experience was going. I couldn't lie because she could see the look on my face. She was so kind and patient! She helped me find something that I liked and put it together. It was everything I wanted and more!! Definitely coming back!!

I’ve Been To Babins Twice Now And I Can Say This Place Has So Much Potential. I LOVE The Ambiance And The Cajun Vibes. It’s Spacious, The Staff Are Always So Nice And The Music Is A Sweet Touch. Now For The Food. I Will Say Theres A Lot Of Work To Do. I Wish I Could Blame This On A Cultural Difference But I Feel Like Of You’re Going To Be Making Louisiana Dishes You Have To Use Seasoning. I Brought My Friends Here Fa My Bday And I Was Embarrassed By How Much Seasoning They Had To Ask For. Mostly Everything Tasted Like Nothing. Great Portion Sizes But Where’s The Flavor. I Got The Salmon Plate And It Was Rawish On One I Had To Ask For It To Be Cooked Well Done And They Fixed It No Problem. I Believe The Best Thing You Can Get Here Is Some Type Of Fish Meal. I’ve Had The Shrimp Poboy And It Was Disgusting. Pasta No Flavor. Even The Beignets Were Just Empty Dough Casings Very Underwhelming. Seafood Fondue Was Weird Cheese Glob. If You Gonna Do The Mardi Gras Vibes You Gotta Bring The Mardi Gras Flavor. I’ll Reiterate Staff Is Always Nice Tho. Oh And The Caesar Salad Was Good I Will Say That.
