  This is a full-blown sit down BBQ fully smoked meats restaurant inside of the grocery store who would have thunk it! The barbecue angels must have been with me today. I came for the burnt bean company barbecue Saturday and today is Friday. Was a little bit peckish and I saw there was some barbecue that looked pretty good at the grocery store I thought why not let's see So I ordered the beef rib. They only have it available on Friday wouldn't you know it today is Friday. That's why I said the Angels must be sitting on my shoulder The barbecue angels so I ordered the dino rib. Oh my God it's excellent. You won't be disappointed I can tell you that also the mac and cheese is very good So are the brisket beans. I highly recommend checking this place out you'll be happily surprised just like I was.

  Best BBQ in Texas I have ate a lot of BBQ between Tennessee and Texas and this is the best yet! Thanks HEB for being a part

  The team at the Seguin True TX BBQ always does a phenomenal job. The food is great, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic! Definitely recommend trying out the new Lamb Pitas!

  Always out of food, what’s the point of the kiosk if when you’re ordering workers constantly come out saying we don’t have this or that. Might as well just keep cashier so they can tell you right away instead of having to change your order multiple times.

  5/5 Stars – Absolutely outstanding! We stopped by True Texas BBQ inside the H-E-B in Seguin, Texas, and wow—what a pleasant surprise! The food was straight-up delicious, and the beef Dino rib was the star of the show. Tender, perfectly smoked, juicy, and full of that authentic Texas flavor—hands down one of the best ribs we’ve had in a while. Everything we tried was amazing and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive. Everyone working there was super kind, sweet, and genuinely accommodating. We asked for extra pickles, and they happily hooked us up without any hassle. The place was spotless—clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated with a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. It’s such a pleasure to come here. If you’re in Seguin and craving real-deal Texas barbecue without the fuss, do yourself a favor and head to True Texas BBQ at H-E-B. You won’t be disappointed—we’re already planning our next visit!
