The store is notably less crowded compared to our local alternatives. However, I was disappointed with the customer service I received today. I inquired about a plant's price, as I believed I had seen a different price point, but was incorrect. I then posed additional questions, yet the sales associate curtly replied that she was aware of the prices and walked away. I wanted to know the plant's type. Furthermore, I requested that the cashier split the bill, but the full amount remained displayed. Upon asking again, the cashier rudely responded that she had already processed the request, which was not accurate. As a customer experience manager at a different retail establishment, I can assert that this behavior is unacceptable. If interacting with customers and addressing their inquiries is not a pleasant experience for your staff, then perhaps customer-facing roles are not suitable for them. I expect a higher standard of service. I strive to ensure that our customers never feel like a burden in our stores. Unfortunately, we will not be shopping at this location in the future.

I think it also saves me money, because I am always adding things I want but don't NEED when I go in store (HEB has too much cute stuff and tempting ready made meals which I try to avoid on my budget). Also I always try to keep a few dollars on hand when I pick up to tip my person that brings out my grocieries, a tip in app option would be great!

Prices are higher everywhere but HEB is doing a lot to keep costs down and the employees are always courteous and helpful. The bakery is fantastic and there is a super good BBQ restaurant in the front. Highly recommend!
