The front counter staff were friendly but had to leave to find answers to questions about the menu and needed a managers assistance to add cheese to the burger. Our waitress was friendly and attentive for the most part - except for she asked me if I wanted my salad before my meal,I said Yes and then she didn't bring it until my meal.The salad plate was warm and the cheese looked dried out like the salad had been setting under or near the warmer . The onion rings were barely cooked. The shrimp ceviche style appetizer was delicious with large perfectly cooked shrimp. My Mom loved her catfish but was disappointed the sweet potato fries turned out to be waffle style sweet potato fries(wasn't mentioned on the menu ). My chicken fried steak came on a chipped plate with a scoop of mashed potatoes that looked like they scraped the bottom of the pan. The mashed potatoes had dried chewy pieces of potatoes and she forgot my gravy.The chicken fried steak was highly recommended to me by previous diners. By the time mine showed up with nasty mashed potatoes,I had lost my appetite.
