Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Just tonight, I ordered a meal for two people ahead of time and got to Whataburger at the estimated time. After marking I have arrived, I waited an additional 15 minutes for the food to come out, all the while other people that ordered online had come and go. The worker walked up, handed me a single paper bag and walked away quickly with a quiet "good night". I was immediately concerned since I ordered two meals and only received a single paper bag. The bag had one of the two meals but the receipt on the bag had all of what was ordered on it. I had to follow the worker back inside just to find out they completely ignored half the order. I then waited inside for an additional 15 minutes waiting for them to make me the other half of the meal I ordered. By the time we got the second meal, the first was cold. A quick 10 minute drive turned into a 45 minute hassel. I'm only writing this because this situation is extremely common at this location and I highly recommend avoiding if you dont want to waste your time.
