    You can replace the sonic with a brand new, beautiful, and functional building. But you can NOT replace Sanger kids. They will always mess up food. Always

    I stopped at Sonic Drive-In this morning to grab a quick breakfast for my kids before school, thinking it would be a nice change from McDonald's. When we arrived, the parking lot and drive-thru were completely empty, so I expected a quick stop. I ordered a single breakfast sandwich and waited. After about 12 minutes, I noticed the drive-thru line had started moving and several other stalls had filled up. Customers who arrived after me were receiving their orders and leaving while I was still waiting. I pressed the button a second time to ask about the delay, since we had only ordered one sandwich and had been the first car in the lot. A young employee quickly brought out the sandwich, but when I politely asked what had caused the delay, I explained that we had been there first and were now going to be late for school. Her response was extremely rude—she told me that it “wasn’t her problem.” I went inside to speak with the manager, Anthony, simply to suggest he might want to address how staff speak to customers. Before I could even explain the situation, the employee came in and falsely told him that I had cursed at her, which I did not. The manager immediately told me to leave without even allowing me to explain what happened. I also had to ask him four times before he would give me his name. I have already contacted corporate because the situation was handled so poorly. Based on how quickly the complaint was dismissed, it makes me wonder how often customers are treated this way. A little accountability and basic customer service would go a long way.

    My child needed to use the restroom. When we asked the carhop, she was rule and snapped at us saying they do not have public restroom. We waited for our food and drove to Jack and the Box. Maybe next time we should just go else where. They have a restroom on the outside of the building but common courtesy is lacking.
