  (Rotten Crawfish) Let me be clear, the staff was super friendly our waitress was wonderful the food came out quickly and the prices were fantastic... But we ordered multiple pounds of crawfish and were a bit turned off by the texture of the crawfish, as the meat was strange and the shells were very soft. After talking with the staff we found out the crawfish served today is actually a batch that was cooked the day before then chilled and reboiled today. We paid for fresh crawfish, and were served day old reheated crawfish that could quite frankly cause severe food poisoning. It was also determined that the crawfish is picked up from Louisiana by one of the chefs. Tell me how you are going to serve "fresh" crawfish if it's already been in a cooler for hours if not days prior to being cooked? This tells me a lot of it is probably dead upon arrival. Again service and pricing great, crawfish dangerous.

  Was walking down san marcos downtown and randomly stopped in here due to the sign outside advertising that it’s the oldest restaurant in SM. At first I was excited by the prices but quickly understood when I recognized the lack of service from the staff and the terrible food. Wow. I’m sure the baked good are great but do not get hot food here. They were out of onion rings, they served us raw fried shrimp, and my partners burger was so wet that both buns looked like sponges. Truly a disgusting meal. They refried the shrimp for us and didn’t charge us but still so gross to bite into cold grey shrimp. They apologized which I appreciate but still.. The bun; they said they usually have oil but ran out and used mayo instead. I’ve made grilled cheese with mayo and it never looks like that. Idk how this place has stayed open but they should probably shut

  The food was subpar for its price. Ordered a combo with tater tots and cheese, but my tater tots were overcooked. I then had to order french fries which were actually pretty good with the burger I had ordered. Very small selection to choose from, and they were out of manske rolls. The one thing I was actually craving. Music was blaring way too loud. The young ladies were playing YouTube videos on the TV which was fine, but while trying to have a conversation with my table we had to talk louder over the music to be heard.

  Their online Manske ordering is a scam!!!! They took my money and never delivered product and will not answer the phone or respond to online messages. This is fraud!!!!

  Kind of a grungy, off the beaten path, no frills burger joint. The specialty burger was absolutely killer and super cheap. It was large, simple, and hit the spot. Do not sleep on the Manske rolls too! Highly highly recommend.
