  If you have not tried this place, you are missing out. I recommend the Vietnamese shaking beef plate. It will change your life! If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars, I would.

  Okay, first off, I had originally visited this place and liked my Bahn Mi. I thought, okay, let me return and order some food for my family. Spent around 70 dollars for three people only and got the food to go. Sandwich this time was fine besides half the meat being tough fat that I couldn't consume. But the pho I had ordered is where things go pretty south. First, they packaged everything separate to ensure things don't get soggy, which is fine. But the herbs they packed for it were disgusting. I have a culinary background and work with fresh herbs all the time. This is not something that you serve your paying customers. Second, the meat they packed next to the herbs in saran wrap was completely raw, bloody beef. At least maybe sear it next time so I don't have to actually take my pot out and make the pho myself. Both of those things definitely warrant a 4 star deduction, but mainly the herbs being very obviously spoiled and someone still thought of serving that to me. Not worth dropping that kind of money when food safety hazard training has clearly not been reviewed by their staff. Can very easily say I won't be returning and advise people to consider how inflated their rating is. Every restaurant I've ever visited in New Braunfels or San Marcos has never broken out of mediocrity for people who actually know what good food is. Stick to Austin or SA if you want to eat out and be diligent in how they present their mission/about us. It will save a lot of wasted money.

  I love this pho house, it’s my favorite in San Marcos. Very friendly staffed, food is amazing, not too expensive. They do military discount so thats’s awesome, and they have a very kind staff.

  Had an amazing experience here today!! the food was well priced for college students and the staff was amazing very attentive and kind, if y'all haven't been here you should add it to your list to try!!
