  Tristen Nichols review is wrong; he was probably in a bad mood or unlucky!! I have been to this chipotle during rush hour and food was made quickly. There’s one manager who does skimp a bit but she isn’t always up front so that’s good. The employees are always nice and I always leave feeling good which isn’t the same at the center point location which is always busy and slow service. Will be back

  You have children working here and you allow them to be mean to whoever the please. The service here is the exact opposite of what any Texan should be proud of. These kids don’t know respect, as a manager, you surely didn’t teach it. It’s the fact that you have a 2 star rating for a multimillion dollar company. It’s not like there’s another chipotle within driving distance, we just have a poor chipotle in San Marcos. Only reason I can find is you’re hiring the worst of the worst 19 year old employees. At this point I am available Tuesday, Thursday and weekends and I will not disrespect your guests. My only request is a can’t work with the little boy who has too many personal problems at home he’s physically incapable of separating himself at work. When looking over the reviews, it seems we have all had the same problems with the same exact young boy.

  Worst chipotle in/near San Marcos. Every time I’ve been it’s been over 30 minutes after my pick up time before they even start preparing my order. To make it worse the employees are rude and just stand around talking and staring without helping you. Drive 10 minutes down the road before stopping at this chipotle.

  Came to this location multiple times and service always takes a long time. The most recent experience was at 2 o’clock on a Monday. This location was out of all meats and told me it would be 15 minutes minimum before they would be done cooking, or I could order online and it might be faster? Not sure how that works.

  Hot foods are generally required to be held at 135°F or above for food safety. Improper hot holding can allow bacteria to multiply if food has been sitting in the temperature danger zone (between 41°F and 135°F) for extended time. This is concerning from a food safety standpoint and I hope the location reviews its hot holding procedures to prevent potential foodborne illness.
