Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This location was about 3-5 minutes further but they understood my request and I'm getting the gallon of their sweet tea and a large fries. They also made it fresh! This speaks volumes compared to the previous location because my original intention was only sweet tea. It's not a big upsell this time but will definitely be coming back to this location over other closer ones.

Well no onions, no extra meat. I then asked for my meat and onions well guess what they brought me like a small spoon of onions, burned ! At that had to get up for the second time asked the manager , whats so hard about making a burger and he just got the extra onions and went on his way RUDE!

Specifically a worker names Loui! She was so kind and attentive to us, saying thank you and you’re welcome. And even bringing us extra spicy ketchup! She even took our orders correctly, repeating and asking if everything was correct! The atmosphere was amazing, nice music playing, customers were happy and staff was great! The food was nice, hot, and fresh! This is a GREAT whataburger.

The store manager SANDRA is unprofessional and rude to staff and customers. We’ve witnessed on two separate occasions her belittling customers/staff. Now most of the staff and nice but the 2 times we’ve encountered PERLA she is just the same as SANDRA. We paid and ordered for double meat and received one meat, When we took it back to register PERLA appeared annoyed. When she brought us the correct order, she said, “check it So you don’t complain again”! wow just wow. Not the customer’s fault that you put one meat and charged us for two! Not to mention the soggy fries EVERY SINGLE TIME! We will order onion rings at this location b/c fries here are always TERRIBLE. -ask why we return: this location is five minutes from us, but unfortunately, there is too many mistakes and we get treated badly.
