Permanently Exposed (Michele Espinoza)
Apr 6, 2026
A few minutes ago, around 9:00 p.m., I was at Taco Bell, and I mentioned that I was sad because I had just gotten back from my Uncle Willieβs services. One of the employees was so kind. She gave me a passing hug, then stopped and asked me, βWait a minute, do you need a real hug?β ππ
That meant more to me than she will probably ever know.
When someone takes a moment to really care, to really see you, especially when your heart is hurting, it stays with you. Her kindness was so genuine, so simple, and so powerful. In a world that can feel so rushed and cold, that kind of compassion stands out in the most beautiful way.
To the sweet woman who hugged me tonight, thank you. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your warmth. Thank you for reminding me that there are still beautiful souls in this world who care enough to stop and show love.
You made a difference for me tonight. A real difference. I hope you know how much that moment meant. May the kindness you gave come back to you tenfold. ππ
Rest in peace, Uncle Willie. π€
